Is your child allergic to gluten, milk, or eggs? You already know all the foods you should avoid, but like all kids, your child loves cookies, muffins, and snacks in which the ingredients include milk, wheat, or sometimes both. Do you want to know how to replace these ingredients? You can build your child a diet from vegetables, rice, corn, legumes, fruit, and other tasty gluten-free foods.

Wheat-free diet List

It may be hard to identify foods that contain wheat from foods that don’t!! Products that should be safe for a wheat-free diet include yogurt, meats, cheese, eggs, juice, fruit, vegetables, ice, rice wafers, corn, polenta, quinoa, soy, nuts, tapioca, and gelatin.

Learning to cook a dairy-free diet can be challenging. Besides avoiding the apparent milk– including condensed, evaporated, powdered, dry, whole, low-fat, and skim–butter, cream, cheese, yogurt, curd, custard, butter fat, sour cream, pudding, and ice cream, you must get into the habit of checking food labels when you buy manufactured goods. Watch out for hidden dairy ingredients such as whey, lactose, and casein.
Avoid bakery goods, including cakes, bread, cookies, and pastries, which almost always contain butter and milk as ingredients.
Other foods usually containing milk protein are luncheon meat, chocolate, high-protein flour, and flavorings. Also, avoid deli meats because they are often contaminated with cheese when prepared.

Gluten-Free and Dairy Free

All fresh vegetables, fruits, seeds, and nuts are gluten and dairy-free. However, be aware of packaged, processed vegetables and fruits such as jellies, preserves, soups, nut butter, and processed, pre-made meals, which may contain dairy or gluten. You can easily prepare homemade soups, salsa, smoothies, dressings, marinades, parfaits, casseroles, salads, chutneys, and nut or seed butter using fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts in their natural state. Green, leafy veggies such as kale, collards, chard, and spinach are great options steamed as a side dish or tossed into a green smoothie.

Hearty veggies such as carrots, parsnips, sweet potatoes, squashes, eggplant, broccoli, cauliflower, and legumes are perfect for making chili or stew. At the same time, artichokes, avocado, asparagus, celery, Brussels sprouts, corn, peas, and peppers are tasty in a stir-fry or stuffing, as for fruits: apples, oranges, grapefruit, berries, melons, bananas, pears, and peaches are a flavorsome addition to smoothies, desserts or parfaits with yogurt and nuts. Try freezing grapes for a satisfying, refreshing treat, and create a homemade trail mix using nuts, seeds, and dried fruit for a convenient snack.

Enhance the flavor with fresh herbs, which add a powerful aroma and zesty taste to any dish.
